My Seventh Beer Of Christmas....

Went to the tap for number 7. A Lost Abbey 2009 Angel Share. Fabulous 12% strong ale , although some consider this a barley wine.

My Sixth Beer Of Christmas......

After a few stouts and dark ales i am ready for a sour kriek. 3 Brouwerij Fonteiner Oude Kriek was just what the doctor ordered.

My Fifth Beer Of Christmas....

No this is not a root beer float. This is third in a series of collarabative brews made by Deproef and an American brewers. This one is brewed with Bells brewer John Mallet. A very good Belgian Dark Ale. 7.5%

My Fourth Beer Of Christmas......

For my fourth brew of Christmas I went back to stouts. This one is an imperial stout from Port Brewing out of California. It is called Santa's Little Helper. This one has been ageing since 2008. Very smooth!

My Third Beer Of Christmas...

For my third beer of Christmas I chose Dogfish Head Black and Blue. I havn't had this Delaware native brew in a while. It is great ice cold! It is brewed with blackberry and rasberry puree! Fantastic!

My Second Beer Of Christmas....

In Honor Of Tyler and Jill I chose a Cigar City Warmer Winter, Winter Warmer. Cigar City is out of Tampa, Fl. A great 10% winter brew.

My First Beer Of Christmas.....

...A Flying Fish Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout! Brewed in Cherry Hill, NJ.

The holy grail of Seattle!!

This beer is brewed by Russian River in California for Bottleworks 9th anniversary. In my opinion it is fantastic. I had this at Browers many moons ago, I am trying to get a bottle at this very moment, wish me luck......cheers

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. No gifts, no stress. Just great food and drink with great friends and family. Does it get better? Anyway I plan on having a Bruery Autumn Maple, an Ithica Brute and an Alesmith Speedway Stout. What are you going to have?

Boulevard Wheat Beer

Jason Huus is enjoying a Boulevard Wheat Beer while watching the 49ers lose to the Packers at the Blind Duck in Minot, N.D. Im somewhat impressed, I'm yet to have a bad beer from that brewery that is based out of Kansas City. My favorite brew from them is the Saison-Brett. It is awesome. Only one question...Should you be drinking something heavier this time of year? Let us know how it is though....Cheers

Mike D. and I did a blind stout taseting. Mike liked ranked them from left to right. The left being the best. Brooklyn Breweries 10% Black Chocolate Stout won the gold of the night.
