I saw this article and felt obligated to Weight Watchers to drop this link in the beer blog. No need to stop pouring the good stuff, just keep the cardio going boys.

Green Tomatoes and Brews from the RAM
This evenings Total Disorder Port, Oktoberfest, Big Red IP were sampled with a variety of Southern favorites including ribs, CRAB mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes, and homemade pumpkin pie. Each provided a unique and complex addition to the fabulous meal--prepared by three amazing women. The Green Flash IPA and Rainier Beers--previously reviewed and raved/razzed were also consumed. GO HUSKIES!

Rainier Beer, Local Macro
Beer pong, paddling down the Yakima, hot summer nights, and spicy stir fry...When the mood hits to drink like 18 beers, this is a great Seattle choice. The pairing seen here is spicy Peruvian beef with the afore mentioned macro. Mason is gaging, but this taster downed one with gusto. Final thoughts, if you need to go macro, it isn't too bad.

Ham, Mushrooms, and Laurelwood's Workhorse
Vity and VanB were treated to a homemade pizza made with ham and some of the mushroom harvest. They gave the pizza two thumbs up and suggest the following beer pairing: The Laurelwood Brewing Co's Workhourse IPA. The citrus and hoppy flavor holds it's own against the pizza. Enjoy massive quantities of both if possible...it's Sunday after all. Go Seahawks!

The Green Flash helped...
Vity and VanB went on a major foraging mission this weekend to collect 6.5 pounds of edible, and highly delectable chanterelle mushrooms. The boys were fueled with their favorite; the West Coast IPA from Green Flash Brewing. Beer and mushroom pairing to follow.
